Getting ready to leave we had ‘a bit on so here is what we got up to.
- Struck down with the effects of the Covid booster vaccine.
- Weather is checked and checked again.
- Water pump is replaced and the new one is almost silent.
- Big genoa has chafe protection sewn on.
- Leather covers give us some chafe protection.
- Fresh food is procured, stored and Ruffian readied.
- Meals are cooked and prepped for the first days at sea.
- Marina is alive with boats seeing the same weather window.
