An early off from Cascais.
An early off from Cascais.
The delights of Lisbon fly by.
More logs, more writing.
The Portuguese even try and make their bridges look appealing.
A palace for kings, above his valuable spice warehouses.
We finally meet up with Passion of Hamble. It’s a small world.
Ruffian tied up.
Lisbon is devoid of tourists.
In Lisbon you can have any colour as long as it’s yellow.
The triumphant arch.
Miradouro. Miradouro.
Hiking in the hills in the midday sun.
The bitterest coffee and the sweetest of cakes.
Uh oh. Caffeine and sugar.
Feet have polished the cobbles smooth.
Larry wants to go to sea again.
Instagram doesn’t look after itself.
The churches tower up into the sky.
Arches, arches everywhere.
It’s just so sad we’ve broken the treaty signed and celebrated here.
A life of poverty.
The hallowed alter.
Luck strikes Iain. Woohoo €5.
Just what you want at the centre of a city.
Larry rests his tired hoofs after a tough day on the streets.
Art covered every surface.
The sun sets and the lights go on.
So not much on top of the calorifier then?
That’ll be why Ruffian was full of water.
Life is all about opportunity.
We get to walk the futuristic world of Expo 98.
In the future the preferred transport medium is cable car.
We happen across some serious sting aloft.
Larry finds a new friend. Scrappy finds another lunch.
We have string on Ruffian and then some.
How many people can we fit in the lazarette?
It’s in, it fits and most importantly, it doesn’t leak.
