Welcome to Spain.
Welcome to Spain.
We get some great minds on our gas problem.
That really is as sketchy as it looks.
Arty towers of bottles.
Arty towers of concrete.
Spain = Mandatory masks.
Just in case we forgot we were in Gijón.
Pretty amazing street art.
The street art just gets better and better.
Art from yesteryear.
It almost feels like we’re on holiday.
Iain sails, Fiona sews.
Not the prettiest harbour entrance we’ve ever seen.
It’s a Meccano enthusiasts dream.
If building could talk.
It’s not just Spain, its Asturias.
They’ve gone for art on a pretty big scale here.
The art has turned plaza’s into scenes from sci fi movies.
Ruffian slumbers.
The tugs brood.
This is turning into the usual Ruffian rig.
The mask making continues.
They are numbers we like.
This is not a job you see in the marketing collateral.
Another sunset.
The sea does a good job at putting out the sun.
There is no hiding behind the paddleboard.
PHOTOBOMB.
Caves, caves everywhere.
Iain finally finds his mancave.
All the toys are deployed.
Nestling among the rocks.
He really is ready for anything. Whatever anything is.
Let’s go sailing they said. It’ll be fun they said.
Iain shows just how much fun he’s having.
The hills and islands run off into the distance.
Another day, another job, another skill.
Onto bicycle mechanics.
Tweedle dum and tweedle dee with their matching masks.
There is something quite disturbing about ‘offerings’.
The signs of Catholicism are everywhere.
Decisions decisions.
We make it into a new county.
