Ruffian is tucked right into the corner.
Ruffian is tucked right into the corner.
Things are getting serious when hack saws see stainless.
That's the feet off.
The solar arch just slips into pieces.
Now its the turn of the grinder.
It takes some force to bend metal like that.
The new feet are in.
The new arch is tagged onto Ruffian.
Fitting is a precision process.
Temporary metal glueing.
All complete and back to the shop for finishing.
With the davits away Ruffian gets some more TLC.
Cetol, cetol, cetol.
Ready for the fixed davits..
Our daily commute.
Not so shiny.
Becoming shiny (the running gear that is).
Fully shiny.
The power of air conditioning.
Soaked through and ready for some warming food.
Inaccessible cleaning.
The wonders of oxalic acid.
Looking like new.
Break time. Coffee time.
With the arch away the team can attend to the footings.
Little cupboard. Big interest.
If Ruffian wasn't hot already. We just make it hotter (and more waterproof).
That footing took some serious crushing load.
Out with the old.
All ready for sealing, painting and a new solar arch..
Lovely clean glass.
