Quick water transport.
Quick water transport.
We cross a land border.
Helen reaction to proper coffee.
The jungle surrounds us.
What’s up there?
Sad faces not making the waterfall.
Muddy hiking feet.
Penny for your thoughts.
The wildlife.
The opulence of a poverty preaching church.
The art of San Jose.
The welcome of San Jose.
OMG. Portion control.
Some friendly river residents.
Birds, birds, everywhere.
Dawn adventures.
Anything to keep Fiona’s feet dry.
Proper cowboys.
Hiking in the midday sun.
Hiking in the midday sun.
The reward of a waterfall.
A bonus waterfall for free.
It’s all smiles.
The desolation of a mono culture.
Here, here kitty cat.
We pass the ‘Thou shall not pass’ sign.
Leaf cutters on the march.
Cascade after cascade.
Iain and Steve take their daily shower.
Fun in the falls.
Danger danger. Serpents live here.
Fiona wonders what the maintenance schedule looked like.
It only took 4 hours to get here, which was half way.
Tough going underfoot.
Phew. It’s over.
Another day. Another massive waterfall.
Makes a change from the poison dart frog. It’s a different poisonous frog.
Steam rises.
Anyone would think we were hiking in a rain forest.
Just chilling in the trees.
Art in the middle of nature.
The sun sinks in the Pacific.
That’s where we were.
Bad for anchoring, great for surfing.
Tired feet a looking forward to a rest.
There is always one (and its’ usually Iain).
Larry had a pretty tip top time. (But he did miss TT).
