Another dramatic island.
Another dramatic island.
Windy windy windy.
The Gambia has left us nice and clean.
Down in the deep lies the anchor.
The bus takes us to the top.
Not sketchy downhill at all.
It’s all smiles before the big down.
We put our best feet forwards.
Birdlife, but not as flamboyant as we’ve grown used to.
Crammed into the back of the Aluguer.
Quite some taxi ride.
Larry & TT have another goodbye rendezvous.
The sun rises.
Another fond farewell.
Looking up.
Sticks deployed for some serious uphill.
Tomatoes grow like weeds.
Uphill with marbles underfoot.
Plunging green valleys.
Let’s not get wrapped up in that.
Iain sports his new feathers.
Walking in the moist clouds.
Downhill on cobbled roads.
Ahhhhhh. Refreshing.
The wind falls off these hills.
That water is flat but we buck in the gusts.
The anchor holds fast.
The chain disappears into the distance.
With bread like this who needs a bakery.
Fiona gets creative.
Not such a social drink.
