Sailing in fog is such a joy.
Sailing in fog is such a joy.
The fog clears and we can finally see where we’re going.
Iain takes to the recorder and Fiona searches for her ear plugs.
Not much can escape those nets.
Is that a baguette in your backpack or are you just happy to see me?
Anyone would think that the French are mad for their cycling.
Salt pans go on forever.
Speedy cycling.
That looks like a tip top lunch spot.
Weeds grow everywhere.
A novel way of marking your catch.
Ruffian rests.
Proof. Sometimes the wind is forward of the beam.
Look how far in we’ve pulled those sails.
Speeding along in flat water.
Dude. You’re on top of our anchor.
Wall to wall blue skies.
What a great way to start an offshore.
Twinnies up and Ruffian looks after herself.
Ready to deploy Ampie.
In she goes.
We like downwind sailing.
Looking up.
Looking back.
Breeze on.
There is nothing like a sunset at sea.
Only Iain could get stung by a bee while offshore.
Perfect. Just perfect sailing.
Sometimes Iain cooks.
Usual Ruffian poses. Looking backwards reading books.
Sometimes we actually touch the wheel.
Larry is pretty happy to be upstairs.
Night and day the reading continues.
Goodbye France.
Hello Spain.
The sun rises on another country.
